The Season of Advent kicks off on Sunday, November 29th at 6.pm when we have our annual Advent Carol Service. Do join us for this service of light, music and readings.
On Saturday 5th December at Christchurch, North Street we will be holding an Advent Quiet Day, led by the Holywell Community. A chance to spend some time at the beginning of Advent slowing down to focus ourselves on what Jesus’ birth means for us today. The day will begin at 10am and will comprise of a series of short talks and times to reflect and pray, there will be a break for lunch together and we hope to finish at 4pm.
Saturday 19th December looks like a busy day. Along with Christmas Crafts in the Priory Centre between 10 &12, the Holywell Community will be holding a Christmas Fun Day at Holy Trinity Hall, Baker Street. This will run from 12-2pm and is aimed at those of Primary School age. There will be fun, games and lots of laughs all whilst digging into what Christmas is all about. The walking Nativity will be set off from Holy Trinity at 3 so feel free to stick around for that too if you like.
On Christmas Eve we hold our Christingle Service at 4pm – a favorite with families .
